James D. Chester III is the visionary founder of JDC III Thrive Foundation, Inc., where he leads with a deep commitment to empowering youth through education, mentorship, and community service. His dedication to young people is reflected in hands-on involvement—whether volunteering for Read Across America at a Baton Rouge school, spearheading efforts to adopt a family during the holiday season, or mentoring students directly.
James has partnered with the Thoroughbred Youth Football Team in Baton Rouge, where he not only supports athletes through character-building mentorship but also served as the keynote speaker at their 2024 Banquet. His passion for youth development extends beyond Louisiana, with active participation in mentoring programs, such as the RISE Boys Group at C.J. Hicks Elementary, and speaking engagements, including the 2025 Career Day at Middle Ridge Elementary.
